"Against Violence in Each Form and Color" Seminar !

The Domestic Violence Seminar was a free educational event opened to the wide public. It is well-suited for community members who work with victims of domestic violence and for anyone interested to learn more about domestic abuse.

During this 3 hours seminar, the following topics were explored:

• Types of violence
• Abusive relationships
• Effects of domestic violence
• Violence prevention

The seminar Objectives were:

1. To give participants an understanding of types and effects of domestic violence
2. To understand the impact of domestic violence on individuals, families and the community
3. To explore evidence-based intervention strategies for victims of domestic violence

Sessions were available in both German and Arabic languages.

Workshops were customized according to the audiences including youth, adults, law enforcement and other professionals.
