Castelli in Aria

The European project "Castelli in Aria" officially comes to an end this month. It was an important initiative implemented in the Municipality of Pietramelara within the framework of the CERV – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme, under the Town Twinning Action, with the support of the European Commission.

The event took place from 24 to 27 October 2025 and hosted more than 100 participants from Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, as well as Italy, transforming Pietramelara into a place of dialogue, friendship, cultural exchange, and international cooperation.

Throughout the four days of activities, European citizens, associations, local authorities, young people, and stakeholders had the opportunity to engage in discussions and exchanges on topics such as European citizenship, solidarity, social inclusion, and the development of local communities.
